In Patras, following a religious service, the traditional Blessing of Waters took place at the Saint Nicholas pier. A total of 68 swimmers, including young athletes, participated, with Christos Voukellatos, a high school senior, successfully retrieving the Cross. Voukellatos expressed his blessings and hopes to pursue a medical career in the upcoming national exams. The event also featured swimmers singing the National Anthem while holding the Greek flag.
