Thomas Renier, the Commission’s representative on digital issues, stated the Commission will evaluate risks associated with live broadcasts, especially concerning misinformation in electoral processes. A roundtable meeting is scheduled for January 24 to discuss these risks ahead of the German elections on February 23.
