Emmanuel Macron Resurrects Museum of Terrorism Project in France
French President Emmanuel Macron has reinstated the Museum-Memorial of Terrorism project at Mont-Valérien after it was initially abandoned due to budgetary concerns. The museum, intended to commemorate all victims of terrorism and scheduled to open in 2027, was originally proposed by Macron in 2018. His decision comes amidst the commemoration of the January 2015 terror attacks, following criticism from victims’ associations regarding the government’s previous cancellation of the project.
