The Southern Aegean Region is advancing a digital project to showcase over 40,000 monuments and artifacts, including those in hard-to-reach locations. This initiative, backed by a budget of €1.4 million, is part of the Southern Aegean Program 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Key projects include the digital documentation and promotion of movable monuments in the Dodecanese and the digital representation of inaccessible archaeological sites in the Cyclades.
