Tenth Anniversary Memorial for Victims of January 2015 Terror Attacks in France
On January 8, ten years after the traumatic events of January 2015, a memorial was held in Hauts-de-Seine for Clarissa Jean-Philippe, a municipal police officer killed by jihadist Amedy Coulibaly. The ceremony, attended by President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister François Bayrou, featured flower deposits and a speech by the city’s mayor, Etienne Lengereau. In honor of Jean-Philippe, the local police station was renamed after her as the community remembers the attacks on Charlie Hebdo and Hyper Cacher.
