Ryanair has taken legal action against a passenger who allegedly disrupted a flight from Dublin to Lanzarote, resulting in an unscheduled diversion to Porto. The airline is seeking €15,000 in damages, emphasizing that the unwarranted behavior affected all 160 passengers, who had to spend the night in Portugal. Ryanair argues that such disruptive actions are unacceptable and intends to claim reimbursement for additional expenses incurred by other travelers, in line with European compensation laws for flight disruptions.
