The leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, announced an agreement with the new authority in Damascus to maintain Syria’s territorial integrity and avoid any partition plans. Following recent discussions with the de facto government in Damascus, Abdi emphasized the importance of unity and stabilization in Syria amid continued conflicts with Turkish-backed groups. He stated that the new government should ensure a nationwide ceasefire, while Kurdish forces control vital agricultural and oil-rich areas in northeastern Syria.
