Speakers highlighted significant health and environmental concerns associated with mining activities, particularly focusing on the toxic nature of antimony. Residents expressed their commitment to preserving the area’s natural beauty and spa resources, gathering 245 signatures against the project. A resolution opposing mining was unanimously adopted, signaling strong local resistance to the proposal.
