The Mushroom Festival takes place in Sinies, Corfu, on November 8-9, featuring wild mushroom hunting and educational activities. According to Yiannis Garnelis, president of the local cultural society, participants, including school children, will explore local forests to discover and recognize different mushroom species. The event will also showcase truffle hunting with trained dogs, lectures on mushrooms, and an exhibition of artwork inspired by nature. Additionally, attendees can enjoy tastings of fifteen different mushroom dishes, celebrating this culinary delight from the region.
