Israeli airstrikes east of Aleppo, Syria, resulted in the deaths of four Iranian-backed Syrian fighters early today, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The strikes aimed at a scientific research center and warehouses near Safira. Additional strikes westward near Sarakib reportedly killed one more individual linked to Syrian forces, including members of Hezbollah. These operations target positions close to the frontlines with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a key resistance group in the region against the Syrian regime led by Bashar al-Assad.
