Authorities in Athens have dismantled a criminal gang linked to a series of burglaries targeting apartments, businesses, and government offices. Two members were apprehended, and three others identified in connection with five theft cases. Notably, on September 17, 2024, gang members broke into the Ministry of Labor, stealing 30 laptops valued at €30,000. Other similar incidents included a break-in at a law office in Exarchia and a theft at a shop in Peristeri, where €5,000 was stolen. The arrested individuals face serious charges and have been referred to judicial authorities.
