The municipality of Skiathos participated in the WTM London exhibition from November 5-7, 2024, to enhance its global tourism presence and connectivity. Major airlines, including EasyJet and TUI, announced new direct flights from various cities to Skiathos for summer 2025. Skiathos also received the Best Sailing Destination award at the Greek Travel Awards, highlighting its appeal in the travel market. Mayor Theodoros Tzoumas reaffirmed the commitment to sustainable tourism development through collaborative efforts with local businesses and agencies.
