On Sunday afternoon, police in Papagou arrested five minors, aged 13 and 14, for attempted theft of motorcycles. The group was caught inspecting two parked motorcycles when they attempted to flee upon seeing the officers. However, they were quickly apprehended and taken to the Papagou-Cholargos police station for questioning. Investigation revealed that the motorcycles were reported stolen earlier in November from the same area. The case has been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for further action.
