China has publicly unveiled its new J-35 stealth fighter jet after a decade of development. The jet, showcased at the Zhuhai Airshow, includes variants for carrier and land-based operations, designed for airspace control and interception of enemy aircraft. Beyond bolstering its military, China aims to sell the jet internationally, with several nations already expressing interest. Despite its size being smaller compared to existing Chinese stealth jets, detailed specifications remain largely undisclosed, reflecting the country’s secretive military practices as it continues to modernize and assert its military presence, especially in the South China Sea.
