A fire erupted in a single-family home in the Municipality of Agios Vasileios, Rethymno, prompting an immediate response from the fire department. Eight firefighters arrived on the scene with three vehicles to combat the flames, successfully preventing further spread. Despite their efforts, significant material damage was reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway by fire authorities.
