Thessaloniki Metro Launch: New Ticket Prices and Schedule Changes Announced
Starting November 30, passengers in Thessaloniki will experience significant changes as the city’s metro service officially launches. From December 1, tickets for both the metro and OASTH buses will be priced at €0.60, with a reduced fare of €0.30 available. Monthly unlimited riding cards will be adjusted to €16, €45, and €85 for one, three, and six months, respectively. Ticket vending machines will be installed in metro stations, while old tickets can only be used for bus travel until December 31. Additionally, several bus routes will see schedule modifications, and a new line will connect Nea Elvetia to the airport.
