A 19-year-old man was successfully rescued from a 20-meter deep cave in Alonaki, Preveza, after becoming trapped while attempting a reckless descent. Local emergency services, including ten personnel from the 5th Special Disaster Response Unit and volunteer rescuers, coordinated the operation using climbing gear. Following his rescue, the young man was transported to Kanalaiki Health Center for precautionary medical checks. Authorities emphasized the importance of careful preparation and caution during such activities to prevent life-threatening situations.
