A three-hour strike by the workers’ union at the Bodossakis Hospital in Ptolemaida is being held indoors due to harsh weather conditions. The union is protesting the transfer of three nurses to the Intensive Care Unit at Mamatsio Hospital in Kozani, aimed at addressing urgent staffing needs. Union President Theodora Pougaridou stated that discussions are ongoing with the 3rd Health District to reverse the decision, warning of potential further actions if the transfer proceeds as planned.
