Thessaly’s regional governor, Dimitris Koureta, emphasized the importance of community identity at the opening of the Philoxenia Hotelia 2024 tourism exhibition on November 14. Speaking to a packed audience, he urged the need to showcase the unique advantages of each region, particularly in agriculture and culture. The exhibition features 342 exhibitors from Greece and 24 foreign countries, covering 12,000 square meters and hosting over 4,000 meetings. The event promotes local products and tourism, reflecting Greece’s commitment to enhancing its cultural and economic footprint in the tourism sector.
