According to the latest AA Ireland Fuel Survey, petrol prices rose to an average of €1.73 per litre and diesel to €1.67 per litre in November, marking the end of a three-month trend of declining fuel costs. Despite these rises, crude oil prices have fallen slightly, averaging around $72 per barrel. Electric vehicle owners can expect annual charges of €808.64 for driving an average of 17,000 km. AA Ireland’s Jennifer Kilduff advises consumers to compare energy rates and utilize home charging to mitigate costs.
