Arrest Made in Amiens Following Antisemitic Graffiti Incidents
A man was arrested in Amiens on the night of November 14-15 after authorities discovered swastikas and anti-Israel graffiti throughout the city. These tags appeared at various locations, including near a Starbucks and the Perret Tower, invoking violent messages against Israel. Mayor Hubert de Jenlis announced the arrest on social media, condemning the hateful expressions which sparked outrage among local officials. The prefect of the Somme region, Rollon Mouchel-Blaisot, condemned the acts and the police are now investigating to confirm the man’s involvement in the graffiti incidents.
