Andy Kerbrat, a deputy of La France Insoumise, is facing allegations from Mediapart that he used his parliamentary expense allowance for personal drug-related expenses. Kerbrat, who was arrested in mid-October for drug purchases, reportedly made significant cash withdrawals exceeding €13,000. While he admits to using funds for personal expenses, he denies that these transactions were directly meant for drugs. Assembly President Yaël Braun-Pivet has initiated an inquiry into the matter and stated that if the allegations are confirmed, legal action will follow.
