Elena Sotiropoulou, head of the ‘Health for All’ program, highlighted its impactful initiatives during a recent interview. Focused on vulnerable groups, especially children in remote areas, the program has provided medical interventions that have vaccinated over 16,977 children since 2016, raising immunization rates from under 10% to 69%. Alongside clinical examinations, it also offers educational workshops on reproductive health and screenings for women. Crucially, medical services extend to children in women’s prisons, underscoring the program’s comprehensive approach to health care access in underserved communities throughout Greece.
