China Unveils J-35 Stealth Fighter at Zhuhai Airshow

At the Zhuhai Airshow in southern China, the Chinese military showcased its homegrown J-35 stealth fighter jet for the first time, captivating aviation enthusiasts. Despite a brief aerial display, the jet’s presence marked a significant development in China’s military technology, particularly as it seeks to enhance its defense capabilities. The J-35, designed for carrier operations, is China’s second stealth aircraft following the J-20. Experts suggest that while China is advancing, a notable gap in military power and experience still exists compared to the US, which China aims to bridge in its quest for military supremacy by 2049.
