Russia Launches Coordinated Missile and Drone Offensive on Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure

In a significant escalation, Russia has unleashed approximately 120 missiles and 90 drones targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, resulting in at least four fatalities. Ukrainian officials, including President Volodymyr Zelensky and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, emphasized the scale of the attack, which marks one of the largest Russian airstrikes to date. The Ukrainian energy provider DTEK reported severe damage to thermal power plants, leading to emergency blackouts across several regions, including Kyiv and Donetsk.
