Vasilis Matziouranis, a 53-year-old musician and co-founder of the band Dytikes Synoikies, tragically died in a car accident in Thessaloniki. The incident occurred while he was transporting his two minor children and three of their friends. The collision happened at the intersection of 26th October, Egnatia, and Lagkada streets, resulting in Matziouranis’s immediate death, while the children and the other driver, aged 49, sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized.
