On November 19, a school bus transporting students from Kagianni to Mytilene High School was involved in an accident that broke several windows but thankfully resulted in no injuries. Parents expressed concerns about the driver’s lack of communication and the bus continuing its route with broken windows. Angela Lampousi, a parent, highlighted that the bus was overloaded with students from different schools. A meeting led by Timos Theofanellis, head of secondary education in Lesvos, is scheduled for November 27 to address transportation issues and discuss parents’ complaints.
