Achilleas Dimatakis, a shepherd from Dravisos in Serres, has received high honor for his exemplary farming efforts. Starting his livestock unit in 2021 with 300 sheep, he now manages 2,000 sheep and an additional 800 calves across a 60-acre farm. Despite challenges like livestock diseases, Dimatakis’ dedication and hard work have led to significant accomplishments, including daily milk production aiming for five tons.
