ADAC Predicts Slight Decrease in Traffic Fatalities for 2024

The ADAC forecasts a slight decline in traffic fatalities for 2024, estimating 2,760 deaths compared to 2,839 in 2023. While this represents a 2.8% reduction, the organization warns that the goal of cutting traffic deaths by 40% by 2030 remains far from reach. ADAC also suggests lowering the legal driving age to 16 and implementing advanced driving assistance systems to further decrease accidents.
