The North Aegean Region has submitted proposals to the Ministry of Rural Development and Food to tackle water scarcity in the islands caused by climate change. Proposed projects include the construction of various dams and irrigation networks across Lesbos, Limnos, Saint Eustratius, Chios, and Samos, aimed at improving irrigation needs and managing water resources effectively.
