The Greek civil servants’ union ADEDY announced its participation in events commemorating the 51st anniversary of the Polytechnic uprising on November 17th. The union calls for mass attendance to honor the heroic fighters of the 1973 uprising while linking the historical slogans to the upcoming general strike scheduled for November 20th. ADEDY’s Executive Committee encourages supporters to join a rally at the American Embassy, starting at 3:30 PM in Klafthmonos Square, along with memorial events in other cities across Greece.
