The Municipality of Almyros, in collaboration with the University of Thessaly’s Department of Architectural Engineering and the Archaeological Service of Magnesia, will organize a seminar titled ‘Samarikos Mill: Bridging Yesterday with Today.’ Scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 2024, the event aims to highlight the historical and architectural significance of the Samarikos Mill, a unique industrial archeological site constructed in 1938. The seminar will also promote awareness among Almyros citizens regarding the mill’s importance as a piece of their industrial heritage.
