Alp’24 Conference Celebrates Alpine Culinary Diversity
This weekend, the Culinarium Alpinum in Stans, Switzerland, hosts the inaugural international conference Alp’24, focusing on regional food products like Swiss cheese and Slovenian honey. With around 100 producers from five Alpine countries showcasing over 320 products, the event aims to promote the culinary heritage of the Alps. A panel of 60 judges will assess entries across five categories, with a tasting market open to the public. Organizers believe the competition will enhance local economies and foster collaboration among Alpine producers, while plans for future events are already in place to continue celebrating this rich culinary diversity.
