Amazon has completed a successful pilot test of its drone delivery service in Italy, marking the first European deployment of the technology. The test occurred in San Salvo, Abruzzo, and the company plans to meet regulatory requirements in hopes of launching the service in 2024. Previously, drone delivery was initiated in the U.S. in December 2022, with gradual expansions planned. The new MK-30 drone employs advanced computer vision technology, indicating progress in Amazon’s Prime Air operations.
