Annual Livestock Census in Thessaly to Commence

The annual livestock census in the Thessaly region of Greece will start and conclude in December. The Veterinary Directorate reminds all livestock owners that it is mandatory to report their livestock counts of sheep, goats, and pigs to the appropriate veterinary authority. This obligation applies to all livestock farmers who have not submitted a cessation application. The census period for sheep and goats runs from November 1 to December 15, while pig counts will take place throughout December. Digital submission options are available to facilitate this process.
