The annual event ‘Swimming with the Underwater Commandos for Our Little Heroes’ took place in Limassol, attended by prominent officials including Cyprus House President Annita Demetriou and European Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans Kostas Kadis. The initiative, spearheaded by Cypriot MEP Loukas Fourlas, aims to raise awareness and support for the Pediatric Oncology Department of Nicosia General Hospital. Fourlas, who experienced the loss of his child to cancer, emphasized the daily fight these children and their families face.
