An anonymous alumnus has donated more than 30 million euros to the University of Groningen (RUG), following a previous donation of 35 million euros four years ago. The funds will support three research projects, including the CogniGron initiative for energy-efficient computer materials and the M20 program focusing on climate adaptation and artificial intelligence. A new project, the Health Technology Research and Innovation Cluster, will also be funded to explore medical innovations such as cancer treatment using light.
