Apeldoorn to Revitalize Historic Centraal Beheer Office Building
The municipality of Apeldoorn has purchased the historic Centraal Beheer office building, known for its unique cube design and vacant since 2013. The city plans to transform the area into a lively district with housing, offices, and community facilities. Architect Herman Hertzberger designed the building in 1972, regarded as one of the first office gardens. Following years of neglect, city officials aim to alleviate the building’s decline and enhance the area’s appeal.
