Appeal Filed Following Court Ruling in François Asselineau Case

A Paris court dismissed charges against François Asselineau, president of the Union Populaire Républicaine, related to allegations of moral harassment and sexual assault by former employees. The public prosecutor has appealed the decision. Asselineau’s lawyer expressed satisfaction with the ruling, while the prosecution had previously sought to have him judged for aggravated sexual assault and harassment. The case stemmed from complaints filed in 2020, following an extensive investigation that included testimonies from two collaborators.
