The Committee on Institutions and Transparency has approved the appointment of the new Management Board of the Thessaly Water Management Organization (O.D.Y.Θ. A.E.), following proposals from Environment and Energy Minister Theodoros Skylakakis and Agricultural Development Minister Kostas Tsiaras. Tsiaras emphasized that the organization aims to address long-standing regional water management issues and will serve as a model for similar initiatives across Greece. Skylakakis defended the organization against opposition claims of privatizing water services, stressing its public character.
