Archbishop Hieronymos Honors Professor Emmanouil Barvounis with Gold Cross of Apostle Paul
During a two-day session on December 9-10, 2024, the Holy Synod of the Greek Church, led by Archbishop Hieronymos of Athens and All Greece, awarded Professor Emmanouil Barvounis the Gold Cross of the Apostle Paul. This prestigious honor recognizes Barvounis’ significant contributions to cultural identity through his work in scientific conferences and cultural events, as well as his role in the Church’s activities across Greece.
