A 45-year-old man from Heraklion has been arrested after allegedly threatening his former partner with death. The arrest was made by the Domestic Violence Unit following the woman’s plea for help. She reported that he had previously assaulted his mother and had a history of violent behavior. The police apprehended him yesterday as he caused disturbances outside her residence. He is expected to appear before the public prosecutor in Heraklion today.
