Last week, at least 21 people were killed by members of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Attacks occurred in villages Robine and Kojo, with an ongoing pattern of violence attributed to the ADF, which pledges allegiance to the Islamic State. Despite joint military operations by the DRC and Ugandan forces against the ADF, attacks on civilians continue to escalate.
