Athens Mayor Launches Tree Planting Initiative with 5,000 New Trees in 2024

Doukas highlighted the goal of creating a greener and more resilient city, while Deputy Mayor for Environment and Green Spaces, Georgios Apostolopoulos, emphasized efforts to rescue and relocate rare trees as part of a new environmental program in Greece.
