The Municipality of Athens has stepped up efforts to free public spaces from illegal motorcycle parking. On November 5, 2024, a coordinated operation by the Municipal Police and Traffic Police resulted in the removal of 19 motorcycles. This initiative, part of a broader campaign, has seen 76 motorcycles removed and 74 parking violations recorded over the past three weeks. The City of Athens is committed to continuing weekly operations to enhance traffic safety and improve public accessibility.
