Australia Claims Fifth Test Victory Over India, Secures Border-Gavaskar Trophy
On day three of the Fifth Test in Sydney, Australia triumphed over India by six wickets, clinching the five-match series 3-1. Fast bowler Scott Boland’s impressive 6-45 helped bowl India out for 157. Despite early setbacks, Australian batsmen Travis Head and Beau Webster guided the team to a target of 162 runs in just 27 overs. The win also qualified Australia for the World Test Championship final against South Africa at Lord’s in June. Virat Kohli captained India in Jasprit Bumrah’s absence during his last Test in Australia.
