Avans+ College has agreed to pay €7,000 to each of the 50 Indonesian nursing students previously involved in a legal dispute over their treatment in the Netherlands. The settlement follows a prior agreement for 14 students, who accused the institution of deception and exploitation. The college’s director offered a €1,000 compensation to those who participated in the lawsuit, provided they refrain from negative comments about the institution, which has led to further discontent among the students.
