Bayer Faces Legal Action Over Androcur’s Health Risks
The association Amaeva has filed a lawsuit against Bayer for endangering lives and deceptive practices related to its drug Androcur, which is linked to meningioma tumors. Despite known risks since 2004, victims argue the company delayed necessary information and preventive measures. With over 2,500 cases of surgeries linked to Androcur use reported between 2009 and 2018, claims have been made that both the pharmaceutical company and health authorities failed to adequately inform patients. Continued legal actions are anticipated as more victims come forward.
