Tom Waes, the 56-year-old Belgian TV presenter and actor, has been discharged from the hospital following a serious highway accident in Antwerp. The VRT network has suspended all his recordings during his recovery. Waes, who was driving under the influence when the accident occurred, admitted it was an ‘incomprehensible mistake.’ While he focuses on healing, the network plans to discuss future projects only after he has fully recuperated. Waes is best known for his show ‘Reizen Waes’ and has appeared in the series ‘Undercover.’
