The Volos market saw satisfactory movement during Black Friday, as consumers took advantage of offers on everyday products. Apostolos Ontopoulos, president of the Volos Trade Association, noted a cautious increase in shopping activity. He highlighted that the Black Friday phenomenon in Greece, which begins promotions in early November, does not fulfill its intended purpose of providing significant discounts on stock products. He suggested that a single-day event, like in the United States, would be far more beneficial.
